	ABOUT US
	1st Sandhurst Scout Group is based at the Scout Hut in Ambarrow Crescent in Little Sandhurst. This year it celebrates its 40th Anniversary on 29th September. We are members of the South Berkshire District which covers Bracknell, Crowthorne and Sandhurst. There are ten groups in the District. We are open to young people (boys and girls) aged between 8 and 14 years. The Group is led by a team of volunteer leaders, supported by a parent-led committee known as the Exec. The committee consists of our chairman, secretary, treasurer, the leaders from the sections and parent co-ordinators from each section too. Each year we hold an AGM to report on what we have achieved and what we would like to achieve in the future. It is your opportunity to meet the leaders and get to know more about the Group. We are always on the look out for new leaders and supporters too! If you are looking for a place for your child, all we ask is that you might offer some of your time to the group for support in any way that you can be it helping when we need extra hands, hut maintenance, fundraising etc. etc.
